We created ZenBusiness because we believe in the awesomeness of entrepreneurs. They help us power the economy, fuel innovation, and set an example for working on one’s own terms. For too long, the opportunities of entrepreneurship haven’t been extended to people who don’t fit the mold. We’re committed to changing that because we all suffer when entrepreneurship isn’t an option for each and every one of us.

That’s why we’ve built a platform, created tools, and developed educational programs with one goal in mind: to help every single person with a dream to own their own business be able to make that dream come true. We didn’t create this business just to make a profit. We chose to be a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) because we’re committed to empowering everyone to create their own meaningful work, no matter what the color of their skin, who they love, their age, or how their mind or body works.

Giving back to the community is written in our bylaws. It’s how we treat each other and our customers, and how we make the world a better place. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can do more to make a positive impact. Every year we award hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to support and amplify voices that need to be heard, including businesses owned by women, BIPOC, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
